Please help me ...?

I have an Emachines Model T2625 Desk Top computer that was given to me. It has some great functionality but unfortunately there seems to be a media/soundcard device missing from the CPU and I have no way of finding out what brand and model it was that was taken out of it.

There is a built-in sound device on the Motherboard but it too is not recognized by the hard disk and bios. I cannot get the serial number for this CPU from the BIOS when I start the computer and the serial # tag is missing as well. To make matters worse when I try to log on to the Emachines Website I cannot get through because they designed their webpage so many security protocols that even Harry Houdini himself couldn't navigate.

Simply put... Can someone help me figure out a way to find out what type of sound device is embedded on my motherboard and please help me to get the driver program/s to get this computer playback sounds for me so that I can utilize my windows media player. I cannot play music or record music on this CPU until I can get this matter resolved.

If there is a god or even a great CompTech out there that can hear my plea and help deliver me from disappointment. I would be so obliged.

Thank you for your time and diligence in this matter.
